In its Fiorano Modenese factory, Laminam welcomed a group of architects and teaching staff from the Polytechnic University of Milan, the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, Ensad of Paris and Elisava of Barcelona, to act as tutors for “Ceramics Futures”, the first social network project devoted to ceramics, now in its second edition. By exploring this versatile material, four groups of students from the schools involved will have to build a prototype inspired by four main themes – walking, eating, loving and sleeping – and will be sharing the entire progress of the project in an interactive, collaborative way, using the main social communication platforms, such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Google+. The best projects and the relevant prototypes will be on display during Cersaie 2014, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings.
